Tips for a New Player who sucks at Nioh 3 and is used to Bayonetta and Ninja Gaiden

I just managed to beat the first boss after an hour and much raging lol. But I still feel like it was by the skin of my teeth and I could be better. Basically I got the opposite problem to most new players, I’m playing too much like ninja Gaiden and get too aggressive as a result. This ain’t like NG where you can block the whole combo, so I guess I’m wondering what I should do instead? Thanks a bunch y’all!

NG2 Intermediate Wondering How to get better.

I've gone halfway through NG2B on the game's hard difficulty (not mentor) but playing through Vanilla is quite the different experience to say the least lol. I'm on chapter two up to Genshin, and the game has been kickin' my butt so far. Mainly just getting my combos interrupted and feeling like I have to abuse izuna drop and flying swallow and other aerial combos to get anywhere, which I doubt is actually the case, so I figured I'd just ask y'all for some tips on how I'm "supposed" to play the game. Thanks a bunch!

10 hrs in on act one, episode 16, and still crashing into walls semi-frequently, an having trouble getting first place on team race. Thanks!

I should probably mention I’m new to racing games in general lol
