FTM Stroller Recommendations

I’m a FTM looking to buy a stroller travel system for my baby that’s due in April. The top one I’m looking at rn is the Joie Ginger DLX and Mint Latch. I like that it has the bassinet feature, one hand pull, car seat, and toddler seat. I also like that it’s baseless bc we do plan on traveling a lot with baby and moving the car seat between different cars. Here’s my main questions/concerns:

  1. As a stroller, up to what age did it realistically work for?
  2. Once baby is no longer rear facing, how many other car seat purchases did you have to make? Was a travel system worth it?
  3. We plan on having more kids relatively close together (about 2 year age gap or less). Would this be a functional system to use when more come along? (2 under 2 scenario)
  4. honest reviews on joie vs paying a lot more for one like the nuna

Worms in dog pool

I live northern GA and I keep a pool on the back patio for the dogs because of the heat. I cover the pool at the night with a tight fitted cover but I don’t chlorinate it because the dogs like to drink the water. These brown specs keep appearing at the bottom and they eventually turn into worms. Anyone know what kind of bug they are? They didn’t look like the pictures of mosquito or midge larvae. They stay at the bottom of the pool the entire time. I’ve tried dumping and bleach scrubbing the pool and it’ll be fine for a while until they eventually come back. Any advice on how to keep them away?
