Would you leave a partner who continues to smoke even though their lungs have been affected?

I (32F) am seriously contemplating ending my long-term monogomous relationship (36m) because they now have a persistent cough and won't limit or stop their cigarette intake.

I tried to consider addiction, well-being, or stress impacting them giving up, but I no longer care.

Placement

Has anyone had negative placement experiences where they are completing personal or domestic care or non relevant tasks for AASW accreditation ?

Have you successfully advocated for yourself?

How can I manage a intrusive/projecting friend??

I have an amazing friend who looks after me in so many ways. They know all my issues. However, sometimes when I see them and they ask how I am and I say I'm good or ok.. they say something like hmm, I don't believe you, or your eyes look sad. Or gives me some look like they are trying to look into my soul.

It annoys the fuck out of me. I don't want to hurt their feelings. How do I manage this?? What do I say in response??

Rant

I 30F experienced sudden onset constipation three years ago. I went from going 1-3 times EVERY day and then overnight not passing a bowel movement for three weeks. My BM's never resumed their normal schedule, and at current, I physically will not pass a bowel movement if it was not for supplements.

I have had so many GP appointments, blood tests, stool testing, a colonoscopy, so many medications, and supplements.

I am seeing a naturopath (approx 9 months) and over that, too, lol. We did GI mapping, and I had one parasite and high methane, some low beneficial bacteria, and high akkermansia (although in the normal range).

Currently taking:

- Bio Activ Colon Flush

- Interclinical Professional Digestive Zyme

- Herbs

- PHGG

- Fish oil

- Slippery elm

After avoiding the drs for a year because they have been useless in helping me solve my constipation - I booked a GP yday. I wanted referrals for some internal digestive support such as a gastroenterologist and maybe a pelvic floor or like massage support. I left with neither. The GP suggested water, fibre, exercise, prescribing and laxative which I advise I do/have done. She checked my history and advised no point blood or stool testing. She then said there is nothing she can do but I am lucky I don't have cancer or polyps 🙃.

Also I am so scared I will be diagnosed with a autoimmune disease later in life 🥲

Next, I intend to try counselling, walking 30 mins a day, buying a vibration plate, and myofascial massage and cupping on abdominal.
