NGD sparkling burgundy ES-355TD ('68-'70?)

I just bought this amazing looking ES-355! the burgundy has faded to a beautiful brownish copper, with a lot of checking. And it sounds really great as well :-).

However, it was sold to me as a 1967. I'm not so sure about that though...

Here's what I know:

- serial number looks something like 904414. That seems to mean 1970..?

- logo on the headstock has a dotted i, unattached. So that's pre 68 then??

- I don't really notice a volute, or it must be really small. Again, that's pre 69 then...

- factory mono!!!

Some other remarks:

- pickguard is deteriorating, and I assume the off-gassing also caused the heavy oxidation on the pickups and other gold plating

- yes i know I've got the trem arm backwards, I seem to prefer it that way

- it's pretty heavy (around 4.2kg)

- I got it for a great price, but I'm still interested to know what it's actually worth

Antenna for 2.4 GHz wireless mics

I have a rack of 4 Line6 XD-v75 wireless mics. So far, they always worked flawlessly, for probably over a hundred gigs. But of course they work in a very congested frequency range, so I was bound to have issues at some point.
And that point was this weekend...

As soon as the audience entered, I lost one of the 4 channels. Luckily, I caught it before the concert started, and I could replace it with an unused Senn EW300 unit.

Anyway. Would directional antennas help? Line6 doesn't sell theirs anymore, but I'm guessing something like the Shure PA805DB should work too (with BNC adapter)? What about Sennheiser AD1800, with its advertised range of 1400-2400 ?

Or does it not make sense to invest more in this system? Of course buying 4 more EW300's (or similar) would need a very different budget. And also, because this system has performed so well for me in the past, I'm not sure I should throw out the baby with the bathwater...

I'm sure some of you will have interesting opinions on this! :-)
