Lemonade denied CCL claim after 3 years of no claims…

My dog tore her CCL about 3 years ago and we did not have any pet insurance and paid out of pocket.

Soon after, we signed up with Lemonade and have been insured with them since without any claims.

Recently, she tore her other CCL and got surgery onto that leg. I submitted a claim to Lemonade and was denied due to a “Pre-existing Bilateral Condition”.

But that leg was always fine and never gave her trouble for 6 years until she tore her CCL and meniscus (1st year was only meniscus on her other leg).

Any advice for filing an appeal? Do I have a leg to stand on?

Can my pool be too full?

I'm in Central Texas and normally have to top off my pool every week or 2. Recently, we've gotten some needed rain and now the water is almost to the top.

My pool is in-ground and pebble-tech plastered.

Should I drain some water out? I'm only hesitant, because with my luck, we won't get rain again for like a month and I'll need to top it off again.

My doodle tore his other ACL (1st year was in 2023). This is getting expensive!

He had surgery for the first year and will likely need one for this 2nd.

Thankfully, after the first surgery, the vet advised me to get pet insurance, so hopefully, they pay out something for this 2nd tear.

But after this, he’ll be robo-ACL-dog!

My air handler was like this when I moved in 6 years ago. Recently the duct tape came off like sheet and so I taped it up with the black tape. Is that OK?

Seems fine now. Should I call an hvac pro?

The whole taping and drywall “paste” (stuff in tan) looks shady to me.

There didn’t seem to have been anything there before, but the pipe shot out of that elbow connector.

It’s dripping now, so I can get something to make the fit tighter.

Also, is there a tool that can provide more force than my hands?

Thanks all! You guys have saved my pool many times!
