At home TCA peel

Anyone have experience doing an at home TCA peel and if so how did it go? I’m planning on trying a 13% peel from PlatinumSkin. Got a prescription for azelaic acid 15% gel to prep for a couple weeks before I do it due to my skin tone. (Long time Tret user)

Thoughts on at home AHA peels? What’s your experience been with them? Considering doing a TCA 8-13% at home for general texture/pigmentation issues. Any tips appreciated. (I’m a Tret user; approaching 4 years)

I’ve been thinking about adding glycolic acid and lactic acid (both at 15%) to my face routine to enhance tazarotene absorption. How do you all recommend I do that? I was on tretinoin for 3 years before switching to tazarotene 0.1% around 6 months ago. My routine is very minimal:

AM: Take a shower, apply sunscreen (I consider my sunscreen to be my moisturizer)

PM: Cleanse with Kiehl’s gel cleanser, apply tazarotene. I don’t moisturize and I use around 2-3 pea sized amounts of tazarotene on my face. I also put some on my neck and arms. I know that sounds crazy but I want as much tazarotene to be absorbed as possible. My skin doesn’t flake much and I also put some under my eye with no irritation.

I heard the more products you use, the less efficacy your actives will be hence my bare bones routine lol

I met this girl at work last year that I really liked. I let her know that I was attracted to her and gave her flowers etc but was friendzoned. We ended up having a pretty solid friendship with hints of interest on her side (for example getting mad at me for not taking her home after a party, getting a bit jealous when other girls talk to me type of stuff) but she always made it clear I cannot move past the friend zone boundary. She heard I was planning a trip to Paris and so I invited her and she was enthusiastic to join me. Fast forward a few months and I invited her to hang out one day and she left me on read. A few days later she said “omg I just seen your text. I have a bf now so I’ll be with him that day but he’s going to let me still go to Paris with you!) I was caught off guard and hella sad because my feelings for her were always there and so I suggested we cancel the trip due to the boyfriend but she responded saying why would I do that, I trusted you etc etc) so I caved in and agreed to let the trip proceed. Anyways, a couple weeks ago I found out that she doesn’t have a boyfriend and she made him up to make sure I don’t make any moves in Paris. So basically what do I do from here? Because my mind is all over the place. I’m still extremely attached to her and don’t want to let this go.
