Very, very nearly shat myself last night.

It was a matter of seconds away so a really close call. It made me think if I had, would I tell my wife, who thought I was just having a pee? This is the second time in the last few months so may not be so lucky next time.

Would you tell your partner?

EDIT; I had a ten minute walk home and thought it was just a bit of wind at first and nearly farted - jeez I’m glad I didn’t. It was two minutes from home when I realised I was in trouble. Plus I didn’t have my keys so texted ahead to have the door open ready for a slick movement (so to speak). I might be to blame as had had two pints of hazy pale ale.

Having seen many references to Brannigans Beef and Mustard over the years, can anyone recommend any pickled onions to be worthy of Barry Norman’s?

Scariest photo on ebay I reckon

Like most of the UK I’m looking for one of those electric tennis racket fly/mosquito killers at the moment and saw this.

Pacer App recent update makes it pretty unusable for me - anyone else?

I’ve used the Pacer app since starting (during Covid), and always found it perfect for what I wanted - simple, basic information and a route history to look at. A recent update has changed the interface, lost route history (the button that says Routes only shows the ones I’ve specifically recorded over the years - but they’re nothing special tbh - about half a dozen), and everything seems more monetised (fair enough) than it used to be.

I wondered if there are any other users on here who have had the same thoughts/issues.

I’m reluctant to delete it at the risk of losing my history, but look like using Strava in the future.

I’ve worked for the same firm in England for 21 years now, and last week was told I was going down to three days a week due to financials etc. However, despite my offering valid additional duties and ways of other savings, and the fact that I saved the company the equivalent of my reduced wages in one short project recently, the paranoia in me is thinking I’m being phased out.

I understand any redundancy pay is based on your weekly salary in the last three months, so I’m thinking they’ll say in a month that I’m going down to two days, then one, just so they can reduce the payout.

I’ll be earning less than I was when I started, and frankly I have been in the same situation before back in 2013, and have only in the last few years gone back to the full time salary I was earning then. My question is - would this be correct? Its morally wrong I know but thats another discussion with them…. TIA
