Is it a smart idea to buy a salvage title (rear crash) manual rx8, and an automatic non salvage rx8 but with a cooked engine, and swap the engine and transmission and other relevant components from the salvage into the automatic one?

Both together would run me 3k cad before any additional parts. I’d probably have to rebuild the manual engine before I can use it.
