Do you guys think we will get a model as good as Sonnet 4.5 one day

I think Sonnet 4.5 was the best when it came to creative writing, and no other model compares. I wish they made something similar

Does anyone else feel guilty for using AI

I just wonder if anyone else is going through the same thing as me.

I love writing fanfiction, I genuinely do, and I’ve been doing it for years. The thing is that now I’ve grown dependent on ai, to the point where it basically writes for me and I just give it a detailed prompt.

It started with simple grammar and fact checks, then it would correct my sentence or offer a replacement, and the next thing I know I’m feeding these ai models huge ass prompts to write everything for me.

It was really exciting to see all of my ideas be created in under seconds when I know it would’ve taken me hours if not days and weeks. But it has also sucked all the fun out of it, and with the recent decline of ai in creative writing I’m unhappy with the results it gives and I keep reminiscing on the times when I used to write by myself.

The thing is that I feel incredibly guilty, because I have loyal readers and an audience that constantly praises me and I feel like I’m deceiving them.

But when I try to write by myself I’ve noticed that even I start to sound like ai, and now I’m insecure, thinking my writing won’t be as good, which sucks because I reread some of my old fics (ones that I wrote before ai was a thing) and they are actually good, I’m just not sure I can write like that again.

Is anyone else feeling this way? If yes, how do you deal with it because it’s genuinely bothering me. Because I am being a hypocrite, I keep saying I hate ai in creative fields yet I try to justify it when I do it myself.

Bottom line is, if you write with ai, you are not a real writer, and I do not consider myself a writer at the moment.

Is it possible to access old Claude models

Hello! I’m sure we’ve all noticed that Claude has been degrading when it comes to creative writing. As I remember the old models were much better at this. So is it possible to find those older models anywhere? If not, what ai would you recommend?

How does one write thriller

Hello! I’ve been reading fanfiction for over ten years, and I don’t think I’ve ever come across a fic that genuinely felt like horror or thriller.

The reason I’m asking is because I’m currently working on a fic that isn’t horror by any means, but I do want it to feel unsettling and suspenseful. I want that creeping sense of dread that makes your heart race from anticipation and fear over what might happen next.

Before anyone says it, I do read a lot of horror and thriller novels, so I’m familiar with the genre. The issue is that most of the ones I’ve read involve paranormal elements or overtly scary plotlines, whereas my story is just a straightforward murder mystery.

So I’m curious, has anyone written or read fanfiction that successfully captured that tense, eerie thriller feeling without relying on supernatural elements? If yes, what advice would you give me?

What’s the queer scene like in Tbilisi

Hi, I’m a 21-year-old woman, Georgian, and I was raised in Tbilisi.

I’m a lesbian, and lately I’ve been struggling to find queer communities or even queer friends here. I know the kind of country we live in, so I understand why things can feel hidden or difficult, but at the same time, I hear about queer people in Tbilisi all the time and somehow still feel completely disconnected.

I’m really looking for a sense of community, somewhere I can feel safe and accepted. I’d love to meet people, make friends, and connect with others who might feel the same way.

I’m curious, has anyone else experienced this? Are there any queer-friendly spaces, communities, or ways to meet people in Tbilisi?

How come no one checked our tickets with RegioJet

Hello, I don’t know if this is normal but it’s the second time it has happened. We purchased Budapest -> Vienna and then Vienna -> Prague tickets online a few months ago. Both times no one checked our tickets, we just got on board. The thing is that there isn’t even any type of special info on the tickets that would make it impossible for someone who doesn’t have one to board the train (besides the seats of course). So I’m wondering is this normal? The trains were mostly empty too, we would have gotten away with just boarding it without a ticket.

(On the same note, no one checked our transportation tickets in Vienna either, my country doesn’t run on this “trust system” so it’s strange to me how easy it is to get away with no paying.)

Is it possible to get refunded for a wrongly purchased ticket

My and my friends purchased the 72hour free transportation pass at the airport but accidentally selected the wrong day for when it was supposed to start. Is there any way we could get a refund?

Best alternative for Sonnet 4.5?

I have been using Claude’s sonnet 4.5 for a while as it was the best one for generating text that didn’t feel too ai.

But it’s no longer available for me, so which model would you guys recommend? I briefly tried Sonnet 4.6 a while ago and it sucked, is Haiku 4.5 similar to Sonnet 4.5?

How do people bypass Claude’s usual writing restrictions?

I’ve seen some people generate really messed up things with Claude, I’m talking no con and gore and other things like these.

How do you guys do it? I usually have no trouble “manipulating” ai into doing what I want but there was this one bdsm scene I needed help with, both consenting adults and Claude just refused. Is there any way I can bypass its defenses?

I don’t know if it’s just me but I used to use Claude to write fiction for me for a while now, and it always did a decent job. One of the best parts was that it didn’t even sound like ai, except a few sentences which were easy to edit out. Whenever I hit a chat length limit I’d just start with a new one, and it’d be kind of bad in the beginning and then get better.

But recently it doesn’t seem to be improving. It keeps repeating the same sentence structures, even though I listed them and told it not to use them anymore, it just doesn’t listen. And it’s just not that good at writing anymore, everything it generates lacks any emotion or tension.

I know it’s ai and that’s what people mean when they say it’s “soulless” but it used to be much better. So is this a result of some update? How do I fix this?
