Beauty And The Beast is such a pretty song

I didn’t care for it when it first got previewed, and didn’t like ye’s vocal performance on the released version but it’s now my most replayed off of bully. I now love how tired his voice sounds and though it’s repetitive, I’ve never gotten tired of it.

Thoughts on the song?

Typically there needs to be a huge movement behind a sonic or aesthetic idea for an album to really kick down the mainstream and have an impact. Bully is just a Kanye West album and I love it, but I don’t get how you guys expected this album to do crazy numbers especially if you consider the 2025 he had.

It’s either filled with pretentious losers who hate on everything or uncs who want rap to go back to the 90s.

It’s also full of anti Ye ragebait and the comments swearing they don’t care about him yet talk about him everyday.

Just to preface, this is my AOTY.

It’s been a few months since release, and does anybody else think this album is played less outside than The Off-Season? It was supposed to be Cole’s big magnum opus exit, and while the quality was amazing, there weren’t any hits.

Kanye and Don Toliver’s albums seemingly have more noise and performed better streaming wise.

It’s also a double album so I’d assume more tracks = more streams.

Why do you guys think that is? Was it never intended to be a huge album, but for the core? Was the marketing too minimal?

Or is the concept of the album ringing true and people aren’t as up for new Cole?

I’m curious to hear ya’ll thoughts.
