Surf's not Up for Dylan

Surf's not Up for Dylan

I live at a beach in California and I have never met a surfer who just stops surfing all together! Even after injuries they still would go out just maybe not everyday, but every week. When did they write out the surfing for Dylan and why?

Vet says fungal infection, but did not test for what it is. It's spreading.

**Update- I called the vet and he called me back and said I can put the antibiotics in the wet food. Thank you all for your helpful posts.*** My 4 year old long hair developed a bald spot with brown specks. Vet gave us oral antibiotics that cat refuses to take via syringe in mouth. Then he licked off his ointment when I applied it. I had no cone. Then I put coconut oil on it because it seemed to be helping better than the prescription ointment. I put a onsie on him to wear to prevent him from licking it off. However it still kept spreading. I called doctor and told him that kitty refused oral meds and i don't know what to do. He has not returned my call. What the heck is this? Has anybody experienced this? Why after 4 years is he having this happen? I brush him every night. Any insights would be helpful, like what to demand from the doctor? A test of of the spots to see what the hell this is? Can I put his antibiotic in his wet food? Ugh! I am so frustrated!
