Does Reta have any lasting effects on appetite or binge eating after stopping?

I know it reduces appetite and food noise while you’re on it, but could being on it for a while somehow change your appetite regulation or eating habits long term? Like, after stopping, could binge eating episodes become less frequent than they were before starting?

Has anyone stopped taking Reta after using it for a while and noticed that their relationship with food or frequency of binge episodes was still better than before?

Broad Appeal Form Question

Has anyone here gone through the Eli Broad appeal process?

I recently received my Spring 2026 Broad admission score and missed the cutoff by 1 point. I know Broad says appeals based only on missing the cutoff by a small amount won’t be considered, and that they don’t re-score the Experiential Profile or Case Study.

I’m wondering specifically about the extenuating circumstances part of the appeal. If someone had documented depression during the semester that affected their academic performance/coursework, and they had a doctor’s note or other documentation, would that be considered a plausible basis for an appeal?

I’m not asking for anyone to guarantee an outcome, just trying to understand whether this type of documentation is usually taken seriously in the appeal process or if appeals are mostly only successful for grade errors/late grade changes.

Any insight from people who have appealed or know someone who did would be appreciated.
