Had a tornado warning yesterday and the sirens were going off. I’m like 850ish feet or so from an elementary school where they got a 2001-130 (I think, it’s definitely a 2001 of sorts) installed. Not to mention they sounded the sirens like 6+ times, but it sounds like its pitch was fluctuating. Is that normal for 2001s or is something wrong with it? Or could it just be the Doppler effect?
Taken from my visit there a couple weeks ago, rode it 3 times that day, tops up between it and Steve for my favorite rides at the park
We visited my dads mother up in Michigan (we live in Kentucky) on Saturday and Sunday, and Monday we got a deal to stay at the Sawmill Creek resort, and early entry too. Weather wise it wasn’t too hot and there was a decent breeze from Lake Eerie (my dad says regarding the size of the Great Lakes: “if you can see the other side of the lake, then it’s not a big lake), but it was humid as hell lol. Crowds weren’t too bad either given it was a Monday. Rode just about everything there, but skipped blue streak, gatekeeper, Iron Dragon, mine ride, and Corkscrew. Got three rides on Millenium, and two on Steve, those two are probably my favorite rides there. Sirens Curse was also excellent, and so was Maverick. TT2 was absolutely physcotic, Magnum in the magic seat was… an experience lol. Raptor too was fun (though the only other B&M invert I’ve been on is Banshee at Kings Island, and they aren’t really in the slightest bit comparable), Valravn also was good, Rougaru was kinda meh. But yeah had an amazing day at Cedar Piimt, pretty much stayed the entire 12 hours the park was open (got in about 9:20 AM, left at around 9:45 PM). My feet and legs are sore after that but was absolutely worth it.

What we think? Endgame and Formula One 2001 are my most recent additions, open to recommendations as well. Pretty much all are CIB except Crazy Taxi, Endgame, and RR5. The PS2 is well before my time (I was born in 07’ lol), but ever since I got mine in 2023 it’s become one of if not my favorite consoles. Gran Turismo 4 is probably my favorite game, was the first ever game I bought for the PS2, and the sole reason I got one in the first place. Future pickups probably Ace Combat Zero and or Time Crisis 2
Just picked it up from my local Best Buy, I’m looking forward to this game. Honestly don’t really have many expectations for it besides hoping it’s better than 5 (I’d rather have low expectations and be surprised than high expectations and be disappointed). Also I think this is the first time I’ve ever bought a game on launch day, so that’s a plus
