Betrayal at House on the Hill 3rd edition question
My friends and I love playing the 3rd edition of Betrayal together, and while I'd say the 3rd edition is better overall, there are two aspects I like from the 2nd more.
The first is that the haunting often happens too quickly in the 3rd edition, so we started playing where the haunting roll needs to roll a 7+ instead of a 5+, which seemed to fix that issue.
The second is that despite being far more item cards than omen cards, omen cards seem to get drawn either more often or about as often as item cards. Has anyone experimented with the rules about drawing item cards that make item cards get drawn more frequently than omen cards?
I vaguely remember reading that there is to be a third volume in the A Larger Hope? series, covering Christian universalism of the 20th and 21st Centuries. Does anyone know if this is still the case?
