realistically, affordable korean skincare brands worth trying that are cruelty-free

i’m trying to put together a simpler skincare routine without spending a ridiculous amount every month. my skin is combination, so i usually need something hydrating for certain areas without making everything else feel greasy.

i’ve also been trying to stick with cruelty-free products, which rules out a lot of random recommendations i come across. i was browsing stylevana recently and found a few korean products that looked interesting, but i’m not comfortable assuming the whole brand is cruelty-free without checking it properly. for people here who are also particular about cruelty-free products, what affordable korean skincare brands or individual products have actually stayed in your routine?

i’d rather hear about something you’ve finished and bought again than a product you used for a week. how was the amount of product for the price? did it last you a decent amount of time? and did you notice enough of a difference to keep buying it?

even one or two products would be helpful.

how does your office handle sharps disposal?

curious what other dental offices are doing for sharps disposal.

our office doesn't go through enough sharps to make regular pickup seem worth it, but the options we've looked at usually involve a recurring service or a longer contract.

it seems kind of wasteful paying for frequent pickup when the container takes a while to fill.

has anyone here used a sharps mail-back service instead? i'm mainly wondering if it's actually easier for a small office and whether the cost makes more sense than having a waste company pick it up.

what does your office use?

accidentally made dinner completely inedible tonight

i made chili for the family tonight. i usually keep it mild for my kids, but the fresh jalapeños i bought from the store turned out to be insanely hot. i only used two of them and even took the seeds out, but it ruined the entire pot. it tasted fine to me, just a bit of a kick, but my wife took one bite and immediately started coughing and ordered a pizza. the kids refused to touch it after that. now i have a massive pot of chili to eat by myself all week. anyone else get a crazy hot batch of jalapeños lately? they feel completely unpredictable
