i’m trying to put together a simpler skincare routine without spending a ridiculous amount every month. my skin is combination, so i usually need something hydrating for certain areas without making everything else feel greasy.

i’ve also been trying to stick with cruelty-free products, which rules out a lot of random recommendations i come across. i was browsing stylevana recently and found a few korean products that looked interesting, but i’m not comfortable assuming the whole brand is cruelty-free without checking it properly. for people here who are also particular about cruelty-free products, what affordable korean skincare brands or individual products have actually stayed in your routine?

i’d rather hear about something you’ve finished and bought again than a product you used for a week. how was the amount of product for the price? did it last you a decent amount of time? and did you notice enough of a difference to keep buying it?

even one or two products would be helpful.

So I've been using a loofah for quite some time. And lately I've read a lot of reviews on how one mustn't use loofah as it continues to have the bacteria etc etc. so I'm really looking for an alternative that I can use. So if u guys got some good suggestions, drop em drop below and also tag the site form which u got them.

I love the shampoo,tried it before finding out they aren't CF and it made my dark brown hair just the right shade of light brown I love,I wanna try something similar and I heard the conditioner makes it work even better,so is there a good alternative to the John Freida Go Blonder? (also I'd love it if affordable and not 30 euros)

Hi, I have acne prone sensitive skin (gets really dry in winter, but otherwise more combo skin) and I am seeking:

1. basic moisturizer with no oils or anything that would irritate acne prone skin. I see a lot of moisturizers that people recommend in here that have things like jojoba oil, shea butter, and other various oils that I cannot use with my acne prone skin. I am currently using the Vanicream Daily facial moisturizer which has been fine and I like the simplicity and safety of ingredients. but would like to switch to something that has a CF certification. this will be used at night

2. spf - either in a moisturizer or just spf form is fine. this will be used in the morning. same as the moisturizer, needs to be safe for acne prone skin. okay with chemical or mineral sunscreen, ideally one that is both chemical and mineral. I was using Supergoop but am looking to switch since they got bought out.

Ideally looking for (both the moisturizer and spf) to come in a size larger than 2 fl oz and be relatively affordable, I am willing to spend a bit more considering I am shopping cruelty free with lots of needs, but I can’t do like 2-3 fl oz for 30$+ ya know
