Am I allowed to be on a Title for a new car?

I'm in Colorado. My folks are getting a new car that I intend on using for getting to medical appointments and getting groceries. The car is a new 2026 Crosstrek Subaru premium. Part of the reason this car was picked was because the trunk has a hatchback and level with my body as I sometimes need to use a wheelchair due to having a joint disability, My dad wants to put me on the title as a co-owner to help get my credit score up as well as letting me use the car's warranty as it is only claimable by the original title owners (the car has unlimited lifetime powertrain warranty). My dad is intending putting a down payment on the car and payments will come out of his bank account, I am not involved with any payments. I do not have my name on another car title. Am I allowed to do this and not lose Medicaid? DHS in my area are not giving me a straight answer and say they can only know if they look it up after I already get the title.

What would you recommend?

I'm not sure yet what I want however my budget is $10k-13K. Most cars I'm finding at that price range are close to 100k or a little over at least. I'm hoping for something to be reliable. So far the best cost to mileage I've found is a 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek Premium for $11k with 92k miles, no accidents reported.

I sometimes need to bring a foldable wheelchair with me due to a joint disorder that prevents me from walking for more than an hour so trunk space is needed. Looking for something like maybe a small suv or hatch back since it will be easier on my joints.

Is this a good deal?

Looking around for a car. I don't have a big budget so my options are a bit small. I found a 2019 Nissan Rogue SV, Hybrid at $12k with 122,598 miles. I'm looking for a small SUV with a trunk large enough for a wheelchair as I have a joint disorder that causes pain and depending on the day I need to bring able to bring a foldable wheelchair with me. Thanks in advance
