Ideas for random festival encounters for a D&D session?
I'm running a Dungeons & Dragons campaign set in the Feywild, and my players are currently enjoying a forest festival. They've played some carnival games, eaten some food, and seen the main show, and now they've reached the stage of the night where it's time to get lost in the sauce. They've taken something a new friend gave them and everyone is feeling great.
I'm trying to think of fun random encounters they might have come across. For example, it could be booths or performers, interesting or weird people they might meet (on the dance floor, waiting in line for the toilet, that sort of thing), or weird art installations they come across. I'm going to have everyone roll on a table on their turns and narrate / role play the interactions they land on.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
