What do you all think about these screenshots?

Hey all - I built an app that estimates when you'll retire and gives you financial modeling tools to test decisions like buying a rental property, changing jobs, etc. in the context of how these decisions will change your financial trajectory. It's essentially a pocket financial model. Would love to hear your feedback on these screenshots!

I made an app to de-rot your brain

I made a gym for the mind, and it's called RotX. De-rot your brain from AI and social media by developing a writing habit.

Intentionally a simple app - you get one prompt a day and then you can optionally get your response scored by AI so you can see your progress over time. I know the AI aspect is ironic, but the essence is that instead of using AI to think/write for you, you write the response yourself and then AI is there to provide feedback so that you can improve your writing over time.

Free to use, and costs less than a dollar per month for the AI feedback / scoring feature. For those of you who want to try out the Pro version with AI feedback, here's a promo code that cuts the annual price to $4.99 for the first year: DEROT.

Would love to hear any feedback!

I built an app to de-rot your brain

Hi all! I noticed that outsourcing work and writing to AI was making my brain rot, so I made an app to combat that called RotX. It's a gym for the mind. Would love to hear your feedback!

It's intentionally simple: you get a prompt every day, you write at least 50 words, and then you can get your writing optionally scored by AI (ironic, I know - but the essence is that you use AI feedback to improve your writing over time).

It's free to use, and if you want AI feedback on your daily responses, there's a Pro version that's less than a dollar per month. Use the promo code DEROT to get the Pro annual even cheaper - $4.99 for the first year.

I built an app to de-rot your brain in the age of AI

I noticed my brain was starting to rot from using AI too much, so I built an app to combat brain rot.

It's called RotX, and it's intentionally simple: you get one prompt a day to respond to, you write your response (at least fifty words), and then you can optionally get feedback on your writing (ironically from AI).

It's free to use, and there's a Pro version if you want AI feedback (less than a dollar per yr in the annual plan). Use the promo code DEROT if you want to try the AI feedback feature for $4.99 for the first year.

Available in both iOS and Android.

Hey everyone! Would love to hear your feedback on an app I created to de-rot your brain from AI. It's intentionally simple - you get one prompt a day, and you write a response. You can optionally have AI grade your writing / give feedback so you can see how you're doing over time.

Free to use, and there's a low-cost subscription for getting AI feedback. Further 50% discount to $4.99/first year if you use the promo code DEROT.

Would love to hear what you think!

Hey everyone! I used to work on Wall Street building financial models for companies, and I decided to build a model for everyday people to make decisions like buying vs. leasing a car, whether you should go to grad school, etc. It's called Freedom Clock, and the approach is simple: start by finding the date you're financially free, and then see how you can move that date by changing certain aspects of your financial plan, such as buying a rental property or increasing your savings by a bit.

When I started out on the project, I didn't think it would take as long as it did - but personal financial modeling can get very complex, and there are a lot of edge cases I had to account for, like someone's net worth going negative during the projection period. Let me know if you have any feedback on it!

It's live on the Apple App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/freedom-clock-plan-your-life/id6759030795

Here are some promo codes to access the full feature set -

DOLLAR: $0.99 for first three months (choose quarterly option)

FREEDOM50: 50% off full year
