I’m looking to lock in a dedicated, long-term gaming partner for either Marvel Rivals or Overwatch. I play on PC and want to focus on ranked/competitive play. I'll let you pick the game.

I’m currently Gold in Rivals and unranked in Overwatch, but my philosophy is pretty simple: brute-forcing skill through sheer repetition. I don't care about losing, and I don't rage. If we take a few Ls, we just go next. That’s the only way to improve, so I'm looking for someone who shares that "grind and get better" mindset.

A Little About Me & What I'm Looking For:

• The Vibe: I’m 420 friendly, incredibly laid-back, and very chill.

• Communication: I'm down to hang out on Discord VC. Just a heads-up that I occasionally go quiet during intense matches when I'm focused on the game, but I promise I'm still there and trying to be talkative!

• Availability: My schedule is highly flexible. Even if our hours don't perfectly align right away, I have a lot of free time and don't mind shifting my sleep schedule around so we can play a lot.

• The Goal: I’m looking for someone who maybe doesn’t play a ton right now but wants to, or someone who considers themselves "bad" but is down to put in serious hours to grind. Ideally, we start with competitive shooters and eventually branch out into other games as a long-term friend.

Requirements:

• Age: 21+ only please (I am 27).

• Mindset: Please be cool with losing and willing to stick around through the learning process. No rage-quitting or ghosting after a bad match.

I smoke and game a lot, so I am 420 friendly. I’m down to get into all sorts of stuff, to be honest. When it comes to gaming I literally am down for everything. Like I’ll really play any game you want to play. I’ve already played tons of games but I’m down to get back into them as well such as: Marvel Rivals, Overwatch, COD, Siege… And more light-hearted games like Minecraft, Terraria, Stardew Valley, Palworld… I’ve played a few MMO’s too. Black Desert, ESO, FFXIV, and Guild Wars 2. Tons more games I’ve played. Was into Halo back in the day. I’ve been a gamer since the original Xbox days, when I was like 7 or 8 lmao. Again like I said, I’m a huge stoner.

I’m into DND and shit too, roleplaying stuff, but not looking to get into anything like that right now unless you are. I’m more looking for a person to game with. But I will be down for DND in the future.

I have a solid list of games I love playing with others: Minecraft (been dying to do a modded playthrough), Enshrouded, 7 Days to Die, Ark, Stardew Valley, BG3 (a co-op run has been on my list forever), Overwatch, Marvel Rivals, COD and more. I haven't spent much time in Valorant or CS but I'm open to it. Honestly, if you're really into something not on this list, just tell me. I'm willing to buy it if it sounds fun.

I'm also into anime, though I've noticed my interest fading a bit over the past year. Still, watching something together sounds like a good time to me if you're down.

Beyond gaming, I'm big on writing, collaborative roleplay (think shared OCs, world-building, that kind of thing) and DND. Nerdy stuff, basically. I love it.

As for who I actually am.

I'm not easy to summarize and I'll be upfront about that. On the surface I'm pretty laid-back, a little goofy, got a southern accent, a little shy, probably not what you'd picture when someone says "I'm really into world-building and DND." But that's kind of the thing with me.

Give me a concept and I'll have a system, a story or a plan built around it. I'm good at games, not in a tryhard way, just at a baseline, I tend to pick things up fast.

I'm a writer too and I take that seriously even when it doesn't look like it.

When it comes to people, I open up like a slow burn. I'm not cold, I'm just careful. I'll read your energy, match it a little, let things find their rhythm naturally. If you're goofy I'm going to be goofy right back. If you want to go deep at 2am about lore or life or whatever, I'm there for that too. I don't really have one mode.

Fair warning though: when I click with someone I'm probably going to want to talk to them a lot. I get attached. Some people love that and some people don't, so just know what you're signing up for. I'm not needy in a dramatic way, I just genuinely like being around the people I like.

I'm still figuring myself out if I'm being real. But I know enough to know I'm looking for something genuine here, not just someone to queue with, but someone worth actually knowing over time.

A few things I'm looking for:

• 21+ I'm 27, so ideally at least 21. 25+ is preferred but not a dealbreaker.
• Some shared interests doesn't have to be everything, just something.
• Comfortable with nerdy stuff the roleplay, the world-building, the OC sharing.
• Roughly close to EST or just someone with a flexible schedule and a lot of free time. That matters more than the timezone honestly.

Beyond that, I genuinely don't care who you are. I'm just looking to game, talk and slowly build something that actually feels like a real friendship over time.
