Can GHub be used with other brands to "emulate" a Logitech wheel?

There is a game, Alaskan Road Truckers where GHub is required to be installed regardless of your wheel brand. What is interesting is this did detect my Moza r5 wheel and peripherals and let me map the buttons

"Getting your steering wheel set up correctly with Alaskan Road Truckers will require a few simple steps.

No matter which steering wheel you use, you will need to download and install the Logitech G-Hub application[www.logitechg.com\]. If this is already installed, please ensure you have the latest update for it."

I am curious if this is something the developers coded to work like this, or if Ghub always works like this?

For example, bus simulator 21 doesn't work with my wheel (i can map it but no ffb). Would there be a way to detes my wheel in a similar way so I can have ffb?

PC performance

I have seen mixed reports of the performance in this game and I am having the worse performance I have ever had in any game. I have a 5070ti and 9800x3d and 32gb of ram and at ultra settings with dlss on i get over 100fps with frame Gen on but when driving and even when sitting still I will get FPS drops down to single digits sometimes and the game will lock up until it recovers.

I tried setting everything as low as it could go and still getting the same issues.

I had a random point earlier today where i drove around in free roam for 20 minutes with almost no stuttering but on the next session it was back to running like shit again.

I turned telemetry off as some people said that can drop fps but didn't seem to help.

Is it like this for everyone???

I do see people on YouTube etc getting ok performance.

Having a terrible experience

I got a Moza r5 so I could play Forza Horizon 6 but i am having an awful experience in basically every game except for ATS/ETS where there is a good preset, and the wheel and pedals were easily detected.

I don't know if its because i don't have any IRL driving experience or if racing is just that much different but i am just having an awful time. Despite FH6 and The crew motorfest supporting this wheel they feel terrible.

I have tried so many people's settings for Forza and none of them work well, i can barely drive straight without the wheel wobbling and even when following the racing line or driving slow it's like a 50% chance of spinning out completely or getting death wobble in the wheel. The crew feels a little better after messing with some settings (copied someones Logitech settingd) but still having trouble spinning out and having to fight the wheel when turning (jerks back hard to the center) and wobbling that makes the car uncontrollable as well as the wheel itself spinning like crazy in menus or when trying to center itself.

I don't have any of these issues in ATS, everything feels pretty natural to me.

I have a few other games like motortown and beam.ng that i am also having a hard time getting them to feel right.

Its very frustrating having spent this much money and not being able to get a good experience. I am no stranger to having to tweak things but it's very frustrating, its also frustrating that the wheel doesn't get detected for using the menus and stuff. I would have thought this would not be an issue either.
