When do you stop hard saving and spend more freely?

I (30M) have around $1.9M NW (no house, only cash and stocks) ~$500k TC, basically max out all retirement accounts, etc. but my savings rate (after tax) is around 65% after expenses. I probably spend around 25% on necessities and 10% for fun. When did you guys feel that you could ease up on the savings level and more freely spend. I think logically, I could spend much more and it wouldn't make a difference long term, but maybe I'm wrong? I'm also not a very materialistic person, but sometimes I'll see like some tcg boxes or w/e and want it, but 99% I just don't buy it, because I know that there'll be guilt afterwards thinking it's a waste of money.

Review #208: E.H. Taylor Barrel Proof Batch 16 (127.3)

Picked this up today

Price: $100

Nose: melon, some ethanol, cherry, grape, caramel, something dark, oak, leather, light cream, in general very fruit forward

Palate: fruit off the bat, bright, tropical, good mouth feel, oak, leather, baking spice, a tiny bit of mint, a lot of classic BT flavor

Finish: still fruity, oak, dark chocolate, not very complex, but solid.

Score: 8.0/10

This was a pretty nice batch of E.H. Taylor Barrel Proof. It has a lot of classic BT flavors turned up. Fruit forward. Not overly oaked. Nose has a bit too much ethanol, but it could be the fresh crack.

I(30M) am just wondering if you guys ever stopped thinking about money. Even when you hit a number that you were trying to reach, did it matter that much, or did you still think about spending habits, saving, etc. I'm at around $1.9M net worth so I still feel quite far away from comfort.

My friend brought this to try

Price: $100

Nose: really grapey, I guess from the port, super sweet, candy, cherry, fruit cake, mild baking spice, malt, sweet bread,

Palate: lots of strawberry, grape, and cherry, mouth feel is below avg, not too complex, mostly flavor in the front palate with a lot of fruitiness.

Finish: spice lingers a bit, a bit off putting bitterness, oak, short finish, a bit non existent.

Score: 5.5/10

It's ok, it's really fruity on the front palate but lacking afterwards. Finish isn't the best, odd bitterness there. The nose is actually quite nice though. Pretty dense grape flavor with secondary fruit. Overall slightly above avg whiskey.
