I'm especially interested to find battles I haven't seen already.
Personally, most of the battles in the Expanse gets my hairs standing on end. I mean, just the engine sounds at the beginning of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XuqEX1PnG9I - crrrsshhhkkkkkk! And the point defense cannons. Oh my!

Build your ship, build your deck: every crew member, turret, shield and module adds cards to your arsenal.
Fire simulated projectiles: projectiles cross the void between ships, where you can buff yours and weaken theirs. Then they're unleashed! Projectiles close in real time, and placement is everything: point defense cannons shoot them down, shields absorb what gets through, and a well-placed grav turret can deflect volleys away entirely.
Destruction is brutal and detailed: chunks get torn off the hull, bit-by-bit. Once the hull is breached, projectiles wreak havoc in the soft underbelly within.

One of our playtesters was so excited about the game, and had so many fantastic ideas, that he has joined Gibbonfiend Studios! He's been driving a whole new design and art direction, and it's been genuinely exciting to see. It's also been a wonderful experience to share the journey with someone. He even lives in my little village in the UK so we have real, in-person catchups!
We've put together a teaser trailer and updated Steam page to show the new direction and hopefully get you excited too. There's still plenty of placeholder art, but hopefully it gives a sense of where we're headed.
