I received this sarracenia hybrid last summer, and it had one flower stalk that was about 24 inches tall. This year it has 3 flower stalks, but they are only about 5 inches tall. The buds are large, and the plant seems to be healthy and is just starting to put up pitchers. Any thoughts on why the flower stalks are so much shorter?

Got a new staghorn delivered from AirPlantShop, and it came with an entire ecosystem. I submerged as directed, and in addition to the various tiny insects that came out, there also many, many tiny snails. Any tips? Thanks!
