Anyone know how to build these CrossFit-style numbered station markers?

I’m looking to build a few freestanding numbered markers like the black #14 tower in the photo for a CrossFit gym/training area.
Has anyone made something similar or know how these are constructed?
I’m mainly trying to figure out:
What the inside is made from — foam, wood, plastic, or a metal frame?
What type of padding and vinyl cover works best?
How to make the tapered shape
How the base is weighted so it doesn’t tip over
Approximate dimensions
Best way to add/change the numbers
I don’t need the branding, just the same general shape and function.
If anyone in CrossFit/gym equipment fabrication has built these before, I’d really appreciate some photos, dimensions, or advice on how you did it.
Photo attached for reference.

So here’s a quick recap of Copa Sur. The event just wrapped up, and some athletes have already punched their tickets.

I noticed there were a few American athletes and teams competing. I’m not sure if there were any Europeans I didn’t really see but I do know a team from Mayhem qualified for the Games, along with Annika Greer and another athlete from the U.S.

My question is: Do you think this is fair for the Latin American community?

I’m not saying those athletes aren’t fit; competition is competition, and the best should win. But at the same time, I feel for the athletes from Latin America. For many of them, traveling to the U.S. or competing in multiple international events is extremely expensive.

From what I understand, if they don’t qualify here, they may have to go through other competitions like Syndicate Crown or similar events to try and earn a spot. I know there’s also the online semifinal, but I’m not entirely sure how the full pathway works this year.

It just got me thinking this could have been a huge opportunity for athletes who might not have the financial means to compete elsewhere.

What do you guys think? Is it fair for athletes from outside the region to compete in these events, or should there be more regional protection?

Curious to hear different perspectives.
