I love this guy so much

Personally I like them a lot. I think it tends to make them much more sympathetic (which could be a good or bad thing depending on what you like)

initially they’d both be thrilled to learn of each other. C would let itself be tortured by X to study him better, but after realizing C can’t feel physical or emotional pain X would become bored of it, and C would resolve that human test subjects are preferred anyway because of their less subdued emotions (though it would still keep X if it could)

For the first one I wanted to focus on the idea that Ben was a kid who got turned into the elegy statue by being sewn together like in the original dream sequence

Ts sick as hell! The only part I don't like is the gray on the inside of the quills but it's whatever ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

Edit: oh my god it's gray on the inside because those are his ears

I made the line art for something else but I was playing around coloring with different brushes and decided I liked this
