Revolver is a Cimarron model P 7.5” in .45 Colt.

Original cartridge top, made in 1887 at Frankford Arsenal, the removed powder charge in the vial at left.

My collection of Civil War era musket and rifled musket cartridges. Slow going to build this collection, but half the fun is the hunt.

Happy Flintlock Friday! My first shot with the new Pedersoli Baker rifle. I have much to learn after a lifetime spoiled by caplock rifles, but what fun it will be!

Trapdoor Springfield, .45/55. This is the first gun I cast a bullet for, and learned to reload for. Hell of a 15th bday present, many moons ago.

Musket Monday! Over the weekend I was gifted the full-scale Mle1842T musket to accompany the Mle1842 Cadet I restored over the previous few months. Now, someday, my Daughter and I will match on our range trips.

1967 Colt Detective Special, .38spl with factory shroud. My favorite carry piece.

The watch is a “Militado” Dirty Dozen homage, cheap but it makes me happy. Revolver is lettered, the grips are reproductions that I shortened to the end of the frame, stripped, bleached and stained black, and re-varnished. I shortened a grip insert from BK Grips to match the length.

I did not modify or get rid of the original grips, they’re in the safe.
