I took a personal call at work and was in a conference room for about 15 mins. My boss saw me come out and said what time are you leaving? I said 5:30pm because I got into work at 9:30 am, so a Total of 8 hours.
He said what about the time you spent on the call? That has to be made up too. He was so angry. So I said I’ll stay to make up for that time.
It makes me angry because several people in the office walk around several times away from their cubical are they told to make up the time? No.
People who take longer lunches, are they told to make up the time? No.
But for me I’m called out for it and it made me cry.
Well I’ve learned my lesson, not to do this again.
