[ALL] I'm tired of people complaining about the "political agenda" in the other LiS and DontNod games

I watched a YouTube video earlier that kind of bugged me. I don't exactly remember the channel but the guy in the video basically complained about LiS 2, Tell me Why and other DontNod shoving political agenda down peoples throats. Meanwhile he praised LiS 1 and claimed it didn't do that.

He also claimed Tell me Why and LiS 2 don't have a story aside from political agendas. Like I'm sorry but what? Tell me Why is centered around separated siblings reconnecting and investigating their mothers death. LiS 2 meanwhile is heavily political but it isn't just that. It's also about family and taking care of a younger sibling when the main character himself is just a kid.

Also LiS 1 has tons of political and societal commentary. It commentates on male violence, has pretty clear LGBTQ+ themes if you choose to romance Chloe, handles themes of privilege and deals with trauma and mental health issues. I'm not here to bash this specific guy. But I just don't get the people who think this. DontNod always included political and societal commentary in their narrative driven games since at least LiS 1.

Video games and story telling in general is also usually very political. Cause media isn't created in a vacuum. So even if the story in of itself doesn't directly have political themes it's still a product of the place, time and political climate it's created in.

My plans have gotten canceled 5 times this month

I've gotten plans canceled five times this month

First was a picnic in a local park that was decided on over a week prior. Nobody responded in the group chat when I requested more details even when I doubled texted so I eventually just gave up. Second was my classmates for a group project meet up. One said something personal came up and the rest gave no explanation. Third was a lunch canceled by my uni friends due to one girl starting her period. Then the rest decided not to go. Fourth was my partner canceling our weekend plans (for context we don't live together) due to a migraine. Fifth was just earlier today. One of my uni friends canceled a study date cause her professor changed a deadline.

I know it's not personal and that it sometimes can't be helped. But it just feels like the world is out to get me since it happened so many times the past few weeks.
