I’ve been struggling to decide on a monitor upgrade for my PC setup.

Current setup:
- Acer entry-level 165Hz monitor
- Intel i5 9600K
- AMD RX 6600

I mainly play Counter-Strike and Dota 2. I don’t use the PC for anything else and probably won’t in the future.

I can’t afford a full PC upgrade right now, so I wanted to upgrade the monitor first. These are the two options in my budget:

1. 27” 1440p (QHD) 200Hz BenQ
2. 24.5” 1080p 320Hz Alienware

My main confusion is whether the bigger 27” QHD experience is worth it, or if the jump to 320Hz would be better for competitive gaming.

One more thing — I have eyesight issues. Even with correction, my vision is only around 6/9 and I also have nystagmus, so focusing on things can be difficult sometimes.

Given that, which monitor would you suggest and why?
