i have a 850w Game Max rampage series psu & only have 2x 8pin pci-e cables, the gpu i just ordered has 3x8pin ports, can someone help me find something that will work? (i’m in the usa) i have that one 12vhpwr cable maybe i can get a multi 8 pin adapter for that? i’m rlly not sure what i should do but google says only use the same model cords but maybe it’s wrong? some help please maybe a link would be greatly appreciated
stuck between getting a 2080 super or an rx 6600, i have a i5 9400f & only 8GB DDR4 ram, i’m debating upgrading to a i5 8600k & adding another stick of 8gb ram, i currently have a 1660 super & i main rainbow six siege, i get about 70-150 fps, when i move my mouse in game my fps drops significantly, i’m wondering if i should just do a gpu upgrade or a whole system touch up, kind of hard to do on a budget with a LGA 1151, cpu power is semi limited. is the pc worth upgrading or should i upgrade pc’s completely? i’m just trying to be able to run a good 180+ smooth fps.
