Just found out Kevin isn’t coming back. I’m beyond disappointed to hear this. Kevin is such an integral part of this show and I think his character was important as it allowed the show to explore different storylines of racism with the police department and how speaking up can put a target on your back. Truly showing how racist cops are protected and it’s an issue.

If it’s about money why remove Kevin. Why not Torres or that new girl no offense but they are both boring and I feel like other than Kim every girl they bring on the show after Erin is a duplicate of Erin and I can’t stand it.

They never did much with Kevin’s character also and that’s what really bothers me. Couldn’t even give him a good girlfriend. Now with this news I don’t even foresee myself watching the next season. Just so disappointed.

I’ve been wondering this question for so long trying to figure it out but never can. Correct me on anything if I’m wrong here please cause I’m just so curious and confused tryna figure this out.

So their shifts are 24 hours from 7am-7am and they sleep there for when the bell goes off. Now Boden is the captain of the whole firehouse so does he sleep there also or does he take his chief truck home and when there is a fire he goes? Cuz we never see a room for Boden and if severide and Casey get those rooms I’m guessing they wouldn’t have Boden sleeping on the general bed despite the fact that Hermann had to lol.

Also, I’m guessing this is just assumed but is there a chief for each shift or does Boden choose what shifts he responds to at night cause when the B shift gets a night call Boden is there I’m not expecting him to be there with A and C as well he needs his off time too? Or does he only go when there is a big call ? I hope this makes sense just looking for some clarification

I got my mom onto the show and I’m rewatching season 1 with her and I haven’t watched in about 1 1/2 years. I’m up to the part when mills is finding out about what really happened with his dad. Anyway, am I buggin or I swear didn’t Mills and Boden get into a physically altercation or something. Like Mills punched him. Idk if I’m combining that into a different show I don’t remember.

I have a degree in marketing but the marketing field is so over saturated and so hard to break into. I work in something right now part time close to marketing and I’m seeing the way the job is over consuming like early days, late nights, weekends and everything.

I love the idea of teaching because the schedules are good, no weekends, no holidays, no summers. I’m also not just looking into for the schedule but I always wanted to be a teacher growing up. I stopped that dream because everyone told me the pay was so bad. I’m thinking of becoming a teachers assistant while I go back to school to get a masters degree in teaching adolescent education.

I’ve looked up being a teacher a lot on tiktok to see what other people are saying and I feel like everything is so extremely negative. However, negative positive whatever it may be I’m looking for actually advice.

This is so stupid but I can’t help thinking about it and want to share. With the Knicks winning the 2026 NBA championship I was watching the parade and seeing how all the celebrity fans were on the floats and were there and I can’t help but think that some way some how if it was a Castle episode he would be on the float. I can almost imagine the episode it would be so so funny.

Can I just say I really enjoyed this episode. Did I like that it was an episode without Beckett no not really but in a way the chemistry between Nathan Fillion and Adam Baldwin is so good that you honestly forget about Beckett not being there for a bit.

I also love them singing Cool Boys it was so funny when Castle started snapping and you see the pure terror on slaughters face.

I absolutely adore Castle and Beckett together but it kinda makes me wonder how this show could’ve been if you had a season 9 without Beckett. Now I don’t mean I want them to break up but just have her be off screen if like say something like “Becketts in dc where she is a senator”. I just feel like Nathan Fillion is such an amazing actor and the character is well played by him that he could really act along side anyone.

Like I also loved the episode before this one about the nose and I like his banter with Haley.

I’ve been carrying and dealing with a lot of burdens and have been seeking God for answers. I saw this video on my for you page on TikTok the other day about a way to hear Gods voice which is something I’ve also been seeking. Anyway, in the prayer you’re supposed to ask God to silence the enemy and silence your own thoughts and then list your fears, worries, cares and all that stuff which I did. I didn’t realize it was close to 15-20 min till after the fact. Anyway after listening it I put my hands out as if I was handing that all to God and I asked Him to tell me who I am. I had my hands out praying and I felt this pressure in my hand almost as if someone was holding my hands and when I tried to move them into me they kinda moved out slowly on their own. I felt overcome and my body felt warmth and almost weightless. I have never felt a feeling like that before and in a way it was comforting yet extremely uncomfortable and as someone who allows anxiety to overcome them I jumped up in fear and I just felt very dizzy and strange for a couple minutes after.

Has anyone else felt like this before? I feel so guilty I got scared.

Born in raised in New York and I have been interested in moving to the south for a while now for college and just bc it’s so expensive living in New York now. I’ve been watching videos on tiktok and YouTube about it and the main thing I come across is southerners complaining how “Yankees” need to stay where they are and that there state is “full” etc. I’m just sitting here thinking like what’s the deal with that like in ny you meet people from all over. You meet ppl from several different states/countries and we don’t be complaining about that we’re mad welcoming.

I just feel like southerners aren’t as “nice” as they seem. Like shit, I didn’t ask to be born in ny I just was.

Idk if this is a stupid question but I’m genuinely curious I’m from America (north east) and nobody here wears cowboy boots unless Zach Bryan or Morgan Wallen are doing a show lmao. Anyway, I follow some creators on social media who are from places like Texas and down south and whenever they do fit checks they always are wearing some kind of cowboy boots in some way. Don’t get me wrong it’s cute but like do people actually frequently wear cowboy boots in the south even if they live in like a city?
