Thoughts?
So I went on a first date with this guy M29, I’m F22 for context. He picked me up, opened the car door, brought flowers and took me to my favourite Japanese restaurant where the bill totalled to $500+ because we did wine and saké pairings. Though I offered to go halves, he paid for the entire thing. He dropped me home and we didn’t kiss.
Our second date was last night and we went to this really fun, old and dingy British pub that I suggested (he’s part Scottish). He had told me how he doesn’t kiss on the first date out of respect which I thought was really lovely.
As our date was coming to an end, he was holding the umbrella over me as I was going to get into my car to leave. We hugged goodbye and I said “do you not kiss on the second date either?” He smiled and then pulled me in and we kissed.
Is this healthy chemistry in the beginning or is it moving quite fast? We have been speaking for two weeks.
