Went in for a tea set, left with a vintage Dooney instead lol

Went in for one thing and one thing only, and left with the best find EVER and never got the "one" thing I went in for LOL. Found this monogrammed vintage Dooney & Bourke with lime green trim for $6, in great condition! Anyone else get weirdly emotional over thrift finds or just me?

What bags have actually held up for you over the years?

Okay I have to talk about my two vintage Dooney and Bourke bags because I am genuinely obsessed with how well they have held up. The leather, the stitching, the hardware all still look amazing.

Dooney just knows how to make a bag honestly. These two have been with me forever and still look incredible.

Anyone else have pieces that have held up way better than expected? Curious what brands you all swear by!

Are skinny jeans actually out or is it just situational?

I recently read this article from The Wardrobe Consultant about whether skinny jeans are dead, and now I’m curious what people actually think in real life versus online.

I keep seeing Gen Z wearing these loose/baggy wide-leg jeans and honestly they look so cute on other people. But every time I try them on, I feel like I look odd or like the fit just doesn’t work on me at all. Skinny jeans still feel the easiest and most flattering for me to style, especially with boots or sneakers.

The article basically talked about how skinny jeans might not be the main trend anymore, but that they can still work depending on the outfit and styling. That honestly made me wonder, are skinny jeans completely outdated now, or are they more situational?

I want to stay up with trends, but I also don’t want to force myself into styles that don’t feel right on me.

Does anyone else have a Good Luck bag?

I was getting ready for a big presentation today and realized I subconsciously reached for my Dooney and Bourke Pebble Grain Crossbody because it makes me feel ten times more capable. It’s not just an accessory at this point; it’s like armor.

Do you have a specific bag that gives you a confidence boost or just makes you feel put together even when the rest of your day is chaos? I’d love to hear the stories behind your power pieces!👛

I found these two unique wicker bags and am torn trying to figure out if they are the perfect vacation bag or just ugly lol. I would pair them with very basic white dresses to allow the bag to be the statement! ANY and all suggestions are helpful!
