The planned parenthood protesters are so much to deal with!

Good morning guys…

I am pregnant and unsure if this is a good thing or bad thing or even what I want to do as I’ve been struggling myself for a couple of years and my family/ friend support is minimal and this child’s father is back and forth with being there and not so I came to planned parenthood today to discuss my options and before I could even make it to the building….

It has already taken me so much strength just to come up here because this ain’t the first appointment I’ve scheduled and either just rescheduled it due to still being conflicted or just simply didn’t show before today

I was bummed rushed by several protesters standing outside of the facility…. Handing out flyers and screaming that Jesus loves you and your baby and so much more…

For one… that’s extremely uncomfortable to experience and there’s several reasons u could be here… not just pregnancy termination or what not so why do every person who comes here have to deal with that … especially if you’re already conflicted anyways.. and then to be all up on my personal space and screaming .. it’s almost like intimidation …

And then I’m looking around at all the people here with spouses and or others to support them and I’m here all alone with a pounding headache and a heavy heart… I wish I wasn’t alone

Thank god for those people outside there to escort you in…

Task scams

Im seriously tired of these people inboxing me with supposed simple “tasks” that will result in payment of some kind but I never actually get the payment after all the run arounds they give me..

Do not inbox me saying anything else related to tasks.. you will be ignored and blocked..

SomePeople out here are genuinely struggling and wasting my time giving me false hope for help is insensitive and disrespectful.

🎂💜 My Birthday Wish This Year Is A Little Different… 💜🎂

My birthday is coming up, and honestly, instead of asking for gifts, I’m asking for a little help getting back on my feet.
I’m currently trying to cover moving expenses, my overdue phone bill that’s currently off, transportation, food, and other basic necessities. I’ve been doing my best to work and handle everything on my own, but right now I could really use some support.
Even a few dollars would genuinely mean something to me. If you’re able to donate, share this post, or simply send some love and encouragement, I would be incredibly grateful. 🥺💜
I’m not asking for anyone to fix everything for me — just hoping to get a little help making this next chapter a bit easier.
🎁 If you’d like to bless me for my birthday, this is the biggest gift you could give. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go toward helping me get stable and move forward.
Thank you to anyone who takes the time to read, share, donate, or keep me in your thoughts. 💜✨

Just Looking for a Little Help While I Wait for My Life to Get Back on Track

I’m not someone who usually asks for help, but I’m at a point where I don’t know what else to do.
I’m 21 years old and currently staying in a shelter while waiting for housing to come through. I recently started a part-time job, but I haven’t received my first paycheck yet and have applied for food stamps but was told I will not actually receive any until August.

Until then, things have been incredibly hard. Today before work.. I went around knocking on strangers doors asking for extra food they had.. I feel so helpless.

I’m tired of going to bed hungry and having to go without basic necessities like soap, toothpaste, deodorant, and feminine hygiene products when my period comes. It’s exhausting feeling like I’m trying so hard just to survive.

If anyone is willing to help, I’d be incredibly grateful. If someone could show me how to make an Amazon Wish List so I can list the essentials I need for people willing to help , I’d really appreciate it. Or if anyone is in a position to donate basic necessities or food in the Washington DC area or donate a few bucks it would mean more than I can put into words.
Even if you can’t help financially, kind words, advice, or pointing me toward resources would mean a lot. Thank you for taking the time to read this. ❤️

My Journey Toward Stability

For anyone wondering what it’s really like to experience housing insecurity as a young adult, here’s a small glimpse into my reality.
I’m currently staying in a shelter while working to rebuild my life. Every day I’m applying for jobs, attending interviews, and using community resources like food pantries and meal programs. While I’m grateful those resources exist, they can be limited, and there are still days when getting a full meal is difficult.
I share this not for sympathy, but to bring awareness to how challenging it can be even when you’re doing everything you’re supposed to do. If you’ve ever wondered why people ask for help, sometimes it’s simply because they’re working hard but haven’t reached stable ground yet.
If anyone chooses to support me with the cost of a meal, provide resources or even just simply willing to keep me in your prayers, I’m deeply grateful. If not, thank you for taking the time to read and understand. My goal is to keep moving forward and eventually be in a position to help someone else.
