Halal pastries/desserts

Hi Sydney foodies! Does anyone know where can i find halal pastries like croissants etc in sydney cbd? Im a tourist staying around goulbourn st so walking distance to a lot of places within the area and also planning to go to the rocks, opera house etc area so looking at those places :)

Doesnt have to be halal-certified bakeries/shop, just halal friendly ingredients. I could ask the shop but thought i would ask here first if anyone knows.

Ive seen multiple halal certified places in hay st market but thomas hay bakery is not so does anyone know? I probably will ask them tomorrow if no one knows :)

Thank you!!!!!!!

Going home for good. Thoughts?

As the title above, i suddenly feel like its time for me to go home for good. I am currently in new zealand and this year mark 10 years of me living here. I always wanted to live overseas eversince i started uni and very fortunate to be able to get a job here and gain my permanent residency after i finished my degree. But now, i have a strong urge to go home.

Im currently living by myself and i have been enjoying living alone as i am a homebody and rather enjoy my time with my hobbies at home but lately i feel this deep loneliness and very isolated. All my friends are married and have families. Im turning 30 this year so i have no desire to go out and hangout and have fun anymore. Ive been pondering whats this life is about if im here alone? My parents are getting older. My siblings are getting older. I missed 4 years of not going home during covid and after covid, my youngest brother is no longer a baby, all my younger siblings are no longer young as when i left home. Feels like everything happened in a blink.

All this time i was feeling fine. But lately i am not. Long story short, my concern is that if im gonna regret it. I understand i will be getting pay cut and all that and i have to adapt again as i left home when i was 19 so my independence and adulthood started here in nz.

My parents have been pushing and encouraging me to not come home because of the economy but whats the point of this life if im missing all those moments with my family? I do go home every year now but its just not the same.

Anyone that moved back to malaysia after years abroad, do you regret anything? Do you wish you would go back overseas? Is the economy really bad? Also if anyone knows, im a food science background. So is it hard and not worth it to find a job in malaysia with this background? Should i listen to myself and not my parents? Lol. Am i going to regret the career i built in nz?
