This is the most corrupt world cup of all time

The ref against Paraguay, the inconsistencies in amounts of extra time and when the games are called, the way Messi/argentina has been protected and the fact that trump was allowed to reverse a correct decision is just what comes to mind to show the level of corruption this World Cup.

That’s not even mentioning mr “neutral” infantino talking about how he was nervous Argentina would lose and was soooo happy they won. Truly this is a cooked World Cup to levels we have never seen before.

Whilst I love some of the games I just think so many of the decisions including now this Balogun one are just incredibly suspect

What marquee midfielders are left

Tonali- gone to spurs
Bruno G- United aren’t interested and won’t win a race against Arsenal even if they were plus they are concerned about his age
Tchouameni - club has briefed he’s too expensive and all the English reports have said he’s not for sale even though the Spanish ones argue otherwise I believe the club don’t want to spend the money for him.
Anderson- gone to city
Matheus Fernandes seemingly was upgraded to a marquee signing and we couldn’t even get that done.

Who else could possibly be the marquee signing?

My hunch is the dude who got benched for James Milner. All roads lead to baleba

Paraguay are truly playing terrorist football

I was happy when Germany lost but even then the referees refusing to protect musiala from their players blatantly trying to injure him I thought it was fucked.

The refs should be fair and impartial and in this game they are being anything but impartial it’s shameless.

That’s not even mentioning Paraguay playing with 11 players in the box 24/7 and pretending they have been shot whenever they fall over.

Truly Arteta’s closest disciples these guys

Alex Scott isn’t leaving

So is now the time to be concerned or should we still back these twats when they sign baleba and tell us orozoco is the next Keane?

It’s so obvious these guys and their “confidence” is a farce and now they are doubling and tripling down and praying an opportunity falls into their lap.

They refuse to pay what’s needed to make Madrid turn their head for Tchouameni, they won’t go for Bruno G, they can’t convince Scott or Bournemouth it seems and they’re obsessed with prem proven so no sangare or camara or Kone etc.

Welcome Carlos baleba the midfielder so perfect 0 other clubs are interested in him 👍

Argentina is the biggest rat team on the planet

Players like maccalister, enzo, Martinez, Lisandro, Di Maria, Otamendi, Romero I could probably keep going it’s mind boggling that they have such a collection.

Manchester United are finished

This dogshit transfer window and lack of real ambition seen in negotiating with Anderson/Fernandes for months and publicly putting it out these are their top targets before failing to get both are two of the latest signs that United are finished

This failure is compounded when you look at the fact that the club refuses to pay over 75mil for anyone regardless of quality and refuses to pay over 200k a week even for world class players in their position like Tchouameni.

The old Manchester United that (taking into account inflation) would pay top money for players like Rio, Keane, Cole, Yorke etc to efficiently strengthen their team is gone. Whilst I think a lot of the big money signings of the past ten years were failures, I believe that’s a failure of scouting not necessarily philosophy.

Now many of the players u21 have only really grown up with United been dogshit for a majority of their childhood, so the spectre of history can’t attract big names how it has in the past ten years. Players like mbeumo and cunha are of a dying breed of players that are dedicated to the idea of bringing United back. This is a problem because United’s dogshit scouting department only want players who commit to United and no one else.

Another problem is the fact that this financial “shrewdness” INEOS yap on about is really just a facade to cover for the fact that they are financially unprepared to build the stadium and adequately invest in the squad to the degree that it needs.

Now the hot take is that is that I think this ownership will take United to being an Everton level club within the next 10-15 years with slow descent into obscurity.

“The window just started” and “why give up now” are just copes when you realise that a majority of United’s midfield targets are taken and the rest get spun by the club as being too expensive.

I see United buying sander Berge, baleba and a backup keeper to finish the window. The descent starts from there

There’s some really interesting midfielders we can still get

Now that we’ve shown the market we have no money and/or are spineless after negotiating for a months and stringing the fanbase along, we have to move on to other midfielders but thankfully there’s some really good ones out there.

I personally think shea Charles, baleba and ederson as our midfield rebuild would revolutionise the team and get us playing top tier championship football within about 3 years.

Hopefully then we can look back and say wow I’m so happy we didn’t overpay 15m for Matheus fernandes and got a bunch of frauds in the midfield instead!

And how could we forget about the mercurial talent of sander berge, we have to really splash the cash for him though and break the bank with a 35m bid. Lot of ambition that one shows

Seriously though if we don’t get Tchouameni we might as well not turn up for the league next season. And that’s not even mentioning that best case scenario right now is only 3 players this summer because Ineos are a bunch of stingy frauds

Argentina is going to the final at the very least and it isn’t because they’re good

It’s so obvious considering their side of the knockouts is full of bozo nothing teams and all the serious contenders are on the other side. So when they meet France or whoever in the final they will be sharper and fitter as the other team will have been battered down by relentless top tier opposition just to get to the final compared to the walk in the park Argentina get.

I’m not surprised considering the blatant shamelessness fifa have displayed this World Cup but giving Argentina this type of runway is actual insanity. GG football

When is the last time Saka performed in a big game?

Because ibr the guy is lowk a Fulham 3pm merchant. Doesn’t perform for England and I’ve always thought he’s underwhelming in big games.

He is not that guy

The third midfielder problem

So it seems that Anderson is going city, Tonali is off the table because of price and the Tchouameni situation will probably stagnate until after the World Cup and only change if Madrid go for another starting midfielder.

Which leaves United with most likely having Fernandes, ederson and Mainoo in the midfield which is a good mix of skillsets and talents but I feel like we’re still missing the physicality/all action nature that Casemiro brought to the top level.

The midfielders I could think of us buying was stiller, nmecha, kone, sangare, camara and Scott.

I personally think stiller is amazing but wouldn’t be the right fit for what we need but if we didn’t buy Fernandes I’d be looking at him as the competition for Mainoo, I think Scott will get targeted by every club under the sun after we get Fernandes and I think he’s actually better in the 8 anyways.

I personally think nmecha/kone are great but I think in terms of value for money id rather go for one of lamine camara or mamadou sangare. I’d be surprised if any are over 55m honestly and sangare in particular looks like an all action tank that would really give us some needed athleticism whilst being one of the best young ball winners in Europe with good passing and is surprisingly tidy on the ball. He’s said in interviews he enjoys the defensive side of the game and considering the current premier league market and the fact that other top teams have been looking at him extensively for their midfield rebuilds (for example Liverpool) I really think he would be my top pick.

I wouldn’t really mind anyone from the list above but I’m hoping the scouting department show us some shrewd business for one of the premier young midfielders in Europe. Saying that, if Tchouameni becomes available I want us to throw the kitchen sink at getting the deal done he’s quality.

Americanisation of the World Cup could kill the sport going forward

The spirit of football will be dead after this World Cup and it’s soulless advertising every 5 minutes and blatant money grabbing by fifa

Brighton aren’t selling for 50m and if we go above that we’re bordering on him being the marquee signing which is a joke. The guy has been pure dogshit all season bar 1/2 games and when United give in and spend 65m on a Brighton bench player other clubs are going to know they can rip us off the same way.

One last thing, why is there no competition for baleba from anyone? It’s almost like everyone knows he’s nowhere near worth what Brighton wants. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Tchouameni for around 75, stiller for 50 and give West Ham the rest for fernandes if they get relegated. I also think we have more than 150m and are trying to be sly about our finances.

I have nothing against Baleba personally but I think this deal just stinks lmk what you guys think
