Thoughts on this project

Im wrapping up my MPH next year and Im finding a practicum topic option for my thesis defense. I have previous research experience in cardiology and I had a meeting with my mentor to dicuss project options that merge cardiovascular disease with Public health and we came up with this project option and was wondering if this is a good option or should I consider something else.

Currently for Atrial Fibrillation, there does not exist a phenotype…Afib is classified as either paroxysmal(less than 7 days) or persistent(greater than 7 days) but this is often misleading so we are trying to identify a phenotype for patients with Afib like is it obesity? CKD? Hypertension? Diabetes, etc etc. I am just listing hypotheticals but is this is a good project? Would appreciate guidance, thanks

Please Read :(

Im going through so much and tbh I just need to vent and I need some support because I feel as if I dont have a support system at all. Long story short, im taking the MCAT june 13th and currently finishing my masters degree as well and its been such a stressful time lately and i dont think im managing this stress well at all. I currently work in the ED as well as a scribe and I love it there tbh like I wish i was there all the time, but yes it is stressful but am I weird for liking the adrenaline and stress at the ED? Idk

Growing up I never had the best relationship with my dad tbh, and me being 23 y/o male i still dont have a great relationship with him and I feel as if we fight all the time. He told me that my stress is causing my whole family stress and it causes so many fights between my mom and dad. I try not to show the stress to them but today I broke down and started crying and my mom hugged me(I feel like i havent been hugged in forever) and my dad lowkey started laughing thinking its no big deal. But im getting to the point where this is affecting my academics/ career, etc. the imposter syndrome is also so bad like everyone tells (except my dad) how proud they are of me and they praise me in the ED because im good at my job and my professors/mentors and friends all say they are so proud of me but the imposter syndrome is hitting me so hard because i dont think its true, My gpa sucks, cant even break a 500 on the mcat lmao and I dont feel like im smart but people say I am but i cant convince myself to believe it. I also dont know how to say this but Im afraid to ask for help like from my pcp or a counselor, i have history of bad anxiety and depression and I never had thoughts of SI but sometimes I wish I could just feel super numb and sedated and that would take the pain away. Maybe thats why i love sleeping because it takes the depression away.

But I would love just any advice you guys have to offer or like general life advice if you have experienced this too or is it just me

My brother 17 y/o male hx of primary MN(nephrotic syndrome) gets ritux infusion every 6 months, currently on lisnopril, has been having for the past 4-6 days bad cough and very bad wheezing. Started him on augmentin and z pack and doing abluterol nebulizer every 2 hours and it gets better but then wheezing gets worse at night, but no fever/chills/n/v/d, just the cough and wheezing, o2 sats are ok, they were intially low 90’s but now 98. Did resp panel and came back + for rhinovirus which he has got before. This is what cxr shows, radiology attending said it doesnt show anything concerning. But im worried why is his cough getting worse and why is the wheezing coming/going, is it because of the suppressed immune system? He saw peds pulm in clinic and she thinks its Asthma and started him on stronger Asthma medications and still on 50 mg prednisone and Albuterol. She mentioned that if the Asthma doesnt get better then we should get a CT scan to rule out fibrosis but my question is what do u guys think? Does ritux cause pulm fibrosis in young kids or is this just a asthma flare up with the rhinovirus. Thank you all for help

Testing 6/13, this is my 3rd time moving my test date so i would appreciate any guidance or tips/tricks. So im taking unscored AAMC FL this Saturday(May 2nd) which was my original test date but i pushed it back because i scored 486 and on unscored and somehow scored lower on FL 1 and got 482. Im not sure if this is test anxiety or what or depression or ADHD but how should I improve? I have got thru 40% of uworld but have not started the AAMC bundle. I also work in the ED part time as an MA like 2 shifts per week so kinda hard to find a balance. I have been making my own anki cards but how many uworld and aamc stuff should i be doing per day? Im having significant trouble making a schedule so if anyone could help or give tips with that, i would appreciate it. Planning to take a FL every Saturday up until my test date. Im also applying to bunch of DO schools so what should i roughly aim for to at least get an interview or get in? But please help like i feel lost
