NEED LEGAL ADVICE/ LAND PROPERTY
Need legal advice. Can you legally sell a land without the signatures of all your siblings? Land is already divided between them but the title is still named after my grandparents.
Context:
My aunt (who already passed away) pawned her land to a relative years ago, (this relative was also her neighbor and convinced her into selling her the land). But the problem here was they only made a written agreement as proof of purchase and the signatories were only my aunt (who owned the land) and their youngest brother - 6 po sila na magkakapatid. My father brought this case to our baranggay but our brgy captain kind of honored the agreement that was allegedly signed by my aunt. This is really messy because according to my aunt before she died she only pawned/sinangla the land to this relative and during their meeting sa baranggay po di nya pinapakita ang papel na signed agreement nila. My Father holds the land title of this said land and last week when he went to our local bir to pay our taxes including the tax of my aunt’s land the officer told him that the tax is already paid by this relative.
What should we do? My father is already 69yrs old and a rice farmer, would he qualify for PAO services?
I’m really sorry if my post is messy. Thank you in advance.
