Looking for an old local (possibly north Jersey-based) emo/alt band that was active between 2006-2008 and wrote these lyrics that have been stuck in my head for 20 years. “This cold shoulder isn’t getting warm”

Hello,

During my scene kid era in high school in the late 2000s I went to a bunch of shows with friends and heard some great local music (emo/alt) and I’ve had these lyrics stuck in my head for ages. I wish I could remember the band and song name. I’m sure some of it is wrong but I’d love to know if this looks familiar to anyone. Maybe you remember it or maybe it was your band. It *might* have been Barnida but I don’t think so. Definitely a male voice.

Lyrics:

Stayed (?) up til midnight

Your face in the moonlight

As we watch the stars

Capture blue like your eyes

When we’re (?) surprised (?)

And you know I’m not far

You can leave when the sun is (?)
(?)

**This cold shoulder isn’t getting warm**

Appreciate any help

Poparazzi nail polish at CVS is buy 2 get 1 free!

I hope I picked the right flair, just wanted to share this deal! Not an ad, purchased with my own money. I didn’t know these were so cheap at $2.99 each and then one free!

Colors pictured: born a unicorn, retro remix (originally went looking for this since I saw it mentioned here yesterday as a dupe for something) and aloe mint.

Just got a switch and I’m looking for more cozy stuff I can play offline/without WiFi for when I’m commuting or flying! Here’s what I’ve purchased so far: ACNH, Hogwarts Legacy, Cook For Love, Palia (barely started though), Disney Speedstorm. I like cooking/gardening/decorating.

*I also LOVE Disney Dreamlight Valley, but I play it on my laptop, and am not interested in purchasing it on my Switch. I don’t want to have to start over again and I’ve heard it’s super buggy.

Other games I enjoy: the sims (laptop) monument valley (phone) good coffee, great coffee (phone)

Thank you!
