Bumps on forehead and chin

Bumps on forehead and chin

I’ve had these bumps forever, and I’m honestly just now getting into skincare so it’s not like I can blame a specific product for causing these. I’m 24F and I just started this routine (below) and I wanna know if I’m even on the right path or if I’m gonna end up making my issue worse. I have dry skin on my cheeks and I’ll get flaky skin often (hence me double moisturizing sometimes), but I have these bumps on my forehead and chin.

I’ve newly started adapalene gel and my thought process is if I just stick it out with that for long enough my skin will clear up, but I’m wondering if maybe my expectations are a little too high and I just need to see a derm and get on tret. Obviously I’d prefer not to see a derm bc I’m sure my insurance won’t cover it but let me know if I’m being delusional here please.

AM:

  1. Round Lab Dokdo Milky Cleanser
  2. La Roche Toleriane Double Repair Moisturizer with Niacinamide
  3. Innisfree Green Tea Hyaluronic Sun Serum

PM:

  1. Vanicream Cleansing Bar
  2. Dokdo Milky Cleanser
  3. Anua Rice 70 Glow Milky Toner
  4. Anua PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Capsule 100 Serum (sometimes)
  5. Differin Gel (justttt started this, used maybe 2x)
  6. La Roche Toleriane Double Repair Moisturizer with Niacinamide
  7. La Roche Cicaplast Balm B5 (sometimes)

Any and all help is much appreciated!

Bumps on forehead and chin

I wanna preface this w I’m sorry bc I’m sure this is a topic that gets brought up often.

EM Grand Rounds Topics/Resources

Hi everyone! I’m an incoming PGY1 and I’m interested in doing a PGY2 in EM (my program has an early commit option) so I’m just trying to get myself a little ahead of the curve.

Just wondering if anyone has a good resource that has like major clinical trials everyone should know/what’s new in the literature. And at the same time I’m trying to think of a topic that I can start researching now for grand rounds. I was kinda thinking the new stroke guidelines? I also thought about the PE guidelines and the RSI trial/RSI meds in general but idk if there’s really a ton I can talk about there since I feel like the ketamine vs etomidate conversation isn’t new at all. Any tips for an ED rotation would be muchhhh appreciated!

Tox topics/advice is also appreciated because my preceptors are also tox trained. Thank you!

Hi everyone! I’m very new to Korean skincare but I thought I’d give it a try. I wish I had thought to look for this subreddit before I bought a bunch of stuff but I have so much going on right now I don’t have the time to research as much as I’d like. I walked into an Asian market in my city and honestly just asked the ladies working the skincare section to pick out a new routine for me.

I have pretty dry skin, I get flaky patches on my cheeks often. I don’t get a lot of acne but my skin is bumpy in some areas (mostly my forehead). My forehead doesn’t really get that oily, it used to when I was younger but I feel like it’s normal now. Also I wanted a lightweight sunscreen because I hate the feeling of products layered on my face.

I just wanna know if any of my products are like a definite no-no and maybe if I’m missing anything that would be helpful. Thank you all so much in advance.
