Repaired a rowsfire pane, insulation issue caused left temperature probe failure

I was able to fix a Rowsfire panel that had an insulation-related failure which caused the left temperature probe to stop working. Fortunately, I had all the necessary tools on hand, so the repair wasn’t too difficult for me.

After diagnosing the issue, it turned out to be an internal insulation problem affecting the sensor connection. I managed to restore functionality and also received compensation from the manufacturer.

First time flying in my friend Jerry’s B737 home cockpit, absolutely unreal.

This is my friend Jerry’s B737 home cockpit, and I finally got the chance to do a full flight in it. The immersion was on another level.

From the MCP and overhead panel to the center console, almost everything follows real Boeing 737 procedures. Going through a proper cold-and-dark startup, powering up the aircraft, starting the APU, and bringing the engines online felt incredibly authentic.

What impressed me the most was the atmosphere once all the backlighting came on. Combined with the physical switches, panels, and system feedback, it felt far beyond a normal desktop sim setup.

Experiencing a cockpit like this really makes the dream of flying a Boeing feel much closer and more real. Homecockpit DIY is seriously something special.

Suggestions for the B737 Overhead Panel

The only feedback I'd like to share about the Rowsfire B737 overhead panel is that I hope the build quality of the Cross Feed and Altitude knobs can be improved to match the excellent craftsmanship of the other knobs on the panel.

Additionally, it would be fantastic if future panel versions could feature dedicated independent switches for the Landing Lights, just like on the real aircraft.

That said, the B107 is an absolutely outstanding product. It has finally allowed me to go completely mouse-free and achieve a truly immersive flight simulation experience.

Highly recommended for anyone serious about their home cockpit setup!

2-Hour Lunch Break = Time to Fly!

Finally got a 2-hour lunch break and you already know what that means. Time to jump in the cockpit. Who else sneaks in a sim session on their lunch break? 😄

Still looking for a First Officer. Any takers? 😂

Left seat's mine. Right seat's yours, if you can handle it. Simulator hours count. Ego doesn't. Come on, bro😎

My homecockpit now has more buttons than my pilot's license has hours...

Finally got my overhead panel wired up. The cockpit is really coming together 🔥
