My friend is going to Disneyworld for 5 days.
On vacation with her fam.
But my friend is used to doing something on a daily basis ... My friend is scared because she knows she won't bring what she's used to doing with hertake, or know anyone where she's going. She's petrified of what her body will go through without it.
She's thinking of concealing a small amount (she did it once before, 4 years ago). Advice?
I'm posting this in case this has happened to someone else and maybe shed some light on the matter.
I live in San Fernando Valley.
My daughter lives in Antelope Valley.
I spend most weekends with her and the grandkids.
I normally drive up Saturdays, but my granddaughter graduated from College Friday.
Traffic was not horrible, considering I left the Valley at 2:30 PM. On a Friday. On the 5 north.
I got off on Ave L at approx 3:30-ish. Nothing out of the ordinary.
With one exception; as I pulled up on the my daughters driveway, I noticed I had a new text msg. It was from a 310 area code with 292 as the first 3 numbers. No name, which means they're not in my contacts. The msg read:
" I saw you driving on Challenger, was that you?
About me: the only people I know in this area, are my daughters extended family. Which amount to 7 people. Everyone of them is in my contacts. I know absolutely nobody else. Well, ok. I know 1 other person; my hairstylist, but she too, is in my contacts. And I saw her Saturday, I'm sure she would've mention it.
I showed my daughter the msg, and I asked if I should reply to find out who sent it, but she advised not to.
The question is: am I right to be creeped out? Somewhat scared?
Am I being paranoid? Should I be?
Because, first of all, how did they know my car, and how did they get my number?
Side note: the few friends that I have, live in the Valley.
I am not a social person by any means.
Am I looking too much in to it?
