Hi all,

Basically I am a first time GM so I wanted to pick a premade module to open my campaign since I figured that would be best for learning the rules. My campaign premise is basically that my players are being blackmailed into doing a few jobs for someone they don't want to work for. I picked Shadow of the Wolf because I wanted my campaign to be quite political so KTB seemed like a good setting for this, thus their blackmailer has also pulled strings to have them snuck into the Karrakin Calvary College so they could be more competent workers and also because he has a vested interest into the plot events of that operation which I won't say for spoiler reasons.

My question is first of all, are Karrakin Calvary College students like regular Earth college students in terms of age? Or is it more like military boot camp? Would it be weird if someone slightly older was enrolled, lore wise?

Second: Is running SOTW just a terrible idea or do you think it will be fine for a bunch of first-timers +1 experienced player.

I'm an inexperienced DM and I've got the itch to DM again. does the following predicament sound familiar: "I want to play rpgs but can't find a group of people who are cool and fun!" it does to me. so i'm making my own group from scratch of gay and/or trans people who want to have a good time and are really flexible on what exactly we play.

im looking for this to be a long term group and we probably wouldn't have more than a session zero and some preliminary meetings before like mid june because i am very busy with some irl stuff but i want to start looking for people early because it's very hard. so please only apply if you have monk-like patience.

but basically i have no idea what we will play or anything because thats far less important than finding cool people to play with. we can figure that out together later :))

details:

time: a weeknight, not wednesday, time tbd but the evening because I have irl stuff to do. would probably not really get into the swing of things until mid-june at which point i'd love to do weekly games

system: tbd, see above. i would personally like to run something sci-fi. there are a list of games i'd like to play in the google form below
