Newbie tips & suggestions

What do you think comes off better?
I didn’t want to put “UGC” on email handle bc I feel Iike it might limit me to just UGC.

Or I can just do my handle@gmail.com

Also should I add my email to my bios
Or just keep it in my linktree & in my portfolio

As for portfolio should I just put it on first intro page & last CTA page or add it to every slide like on top right or bottom right of page.
Tips for portfolio?

I’m new to my ugc journey. I’m a Gen Z, Solo & first time mom. I can work on Ugc full time & I’m determined to have this be my full time income so I can work from home & be with my baby.

Any tips or advice for a new beginner / mom creator

Any creators I should check out

Different apps that you use that’s been a game changer

Hi everyone! I am starting my journey as a ugc creator & wanted to get some pointers.
I’m a solo parent with no village and my funds are running low so I have no time to waste and I’m confident I can succeed with UGC

I’m building out my portfolio this week.
This is the plan
Let me know what you think
Please be nice <3

I am filming some skincare/ beauty content, wellness, motherhood/baby products, hair care (I’m a curly girl) and pet content. I don’t think I’ll plan on having a niche for ugc I kind of want to work around my lifestyle and create a community and personal brand being that I’m a single parent w no village trying to make an income online. In my mompreneur era.
Page 1 I’d be including
- picture of me
- name + ugc creator & content strategist
- location, mom + dog mom
- social media logos w links to my ig, tt, email, YouTube

Page 2: id jump right into my work
Catagory -> videos & make sure there’s a Google Drive link to each video I heard brands like that. And I’ll list the brand I’m making the organic content for.
Shooting to do about 8-12 videos in total.

Page 3: ugc photography

Page 4: let’s work together page
- different pcitire of myself
- cta
- email written out
- social media logos w links to ig tt and YouTube

I didn’t include an about me page I think it’s better to just get to the point unless I should then I can do that before the lets work together page?
Although I did add a bit about me off bat like location, mom & dog mom
Should I include I speak different languages as well?

Any tips on anything I should add or adjust or even remove / simplify or highlight?

And lastly
Some apps I’ve heard of to get on to start getting jobs
Let me know if you’ve used any, like or dislike any of these please
-kale
-joinbrands
-aspire.io
-collabstr
-Billo
-minisocial
-social cat
-cohley
-Insense
-Upwork & fiverr
-bento app

Pre pregnancy & during my pregnancy I was always AGAINST posting kids on social media. For obvious reasons with how the world is & how weird people can be. That opinion got even stronger while I was pregnant and saw parents posting their kids, seeing how many people saved those videos, the disturbing comments the kinds of accounts commenting.. I wouldn’t want to expose my child online to what someone could possibly do w the content.

Aside from that I did my pregnancy solo & am now a solo parent. My relationship w my family has been on/ off since I was a teenager but we’ve kept in touch and always kept trying to work things out. When I got pregnant I had a very cold reaction to my pregnancy it made me feel like they in a way rejected my baby already so I stopped going out of my way to reach out and just focused on me and my health & baby especially bc I had no partner to lean on and have that extra support.

Bringing it back to the present time, my baby was born he’s a couple months old & I’ve had no contact from any friends or family. Few people here and there have reached out but really I know it’s just to see the baby not even ask how I am how baby is or even bother asking the baby’s name…

I’m back on social media, I work with social media as well & part of me SOMETIMES really would love to post my baby, my baby is just so cute, looks like a freakin doll!! But the other part of me not only bc of weirdos (which sometimes I think, am I really that special that someone would do that to me? My kid? I don’t think so but wouldn’t want to take the chance?) but also bc NO ONEEE was there for me at all, not a call not a text nothing from anyone friends or family so part of me doesn’t even want to share anything about my baby for them to see. And again the other part of me wants to bc do those people even really matter end of the day? No f em

I feel like this was a bit jibber jabber but I had to kind of give a backstory.

If you were in my shoes, what would u do or not do?

I see so many people post their kids and make fun and memorable content & it would be perfect for my social & UGC career but I don’t want to expose my kid and regret it? helllp me

My baby just hit 8 weeks.

When is it “appropriate” to start taking my baby to the pool or beach with me?

I know their body can’t regulate heat like adults can & I always have a fan handy anyways + ofc baby would be in shade and not in direct sunlight. Nor would I be putting baby in the pool but I feel like the beach is a bit of a different story it’s natural water & not chlorine. I’ve seen some moms take their babies to the beach & in water pretty young but in my home country it’s so frowned upon to take a baby into pool or beach any less than 6 months of age.

I desperately need some sun & tan to just feel a bit more free & myself since I’ve been in the house cooped up adjusting to mom life.
