Can you help me figure out what I did wrong?
I took a grocery order today, and it was triple stacked. To separate out the orders, I checked out each order one at a time based on the listed items. I then double-tied one order, single-tied the other, and the third order was only three items, so I put all three in the same singular bag. I put one order in the front seat and one in the back seat so they were separated out.
When I dropped off the third order, the largest bag, the customer said there were multiple missing items. She said that she got ice cream and it was missing, but I think she meant ice cream sandwiches and I specifically remember them being in the bags when I brought them out. The street she was on was super narrow and also busy and there was literally nowhere to park without blocking traffic and also the app didn't tell me what side of the street it was on so I was confused and thought it was on the right. So I got out and brought it to her on the other side of the street.
I don't understand what happened. Did I accidentally drop something and not notice? I don't think I did. There was nothing left in my car! Did I somehow mix up the different bags? Do you have any tips to prevent this happening in the future?
