Are they doing anything to weed out fake score cards and results?

I heard a group of people discuss about paying an "agent" to sit the exam for them in their hometown while they are still here. They come from this one hellish country notorious for faking documents and abusing the immigration system. They were unhinged and shameless. The recent removal of requests for re-evaluation might be because of this, but I was wondering if they are doing anything besides that. With the removal of the 50 additional bonus points for being proficient in French, the french category might as well become the only sole pathway for a lot of people based outside Canada. So, I really hope they scrutinize more before accepting test scores. At this point, anything coming out of that country might need more scrutiny. P.S, there's nothing wrong in learning for the exam from scratch. I understand everyone wants to improve their prospects to get an ITA. but it's so tiring to see people cheat and abuse the system. it makes genuine effort look like a joke. AF should probably shut down centers across that region and have them fly to other countries where background checks are more rigorous. any abuse should result in them being banned for 10 years.

So the bonus points are going away but the....

From what I gathered, The +50 bonus points are going away towards the year end. But they'll have the B2 equivalent requirement (either through TCF/TEF) for the dedicated category draws up until 2028. is this true?

Looking for like minded people serious about TCF preparation.

Greetings from across the border (Buffalo, New York)!. So I recently got a conditional offer from a firm based in Quebec. They have a strict requirement for French proficiency and they've given me time till the end of this year to clear TCF with at least B2. As such, I really intend to devote a considerable amount of time to this endeavor and plan to give my exams positively by Q4 of this year. I do have some knowledge of French, Having studied it in high school for across 7 years. So my reading and writing skills are at a rudimentary A2 level. However, my listening and speaking skills are complete trash at this point.

I intend to treat it just like any other exam and hope to self study for the most part. I self studied earlier for the IELTS exam over a period of 5 months and ended up scoring an overall band of 8.5. So, If anyone's really serious about joining me in my journey, please feel free to DM and we'll take further steps! Again, I really try to be consistent with exam preparations and would value people who are like-minded. All our group efforts would be over EDT and for the most part, no external tutors. Hopefully, The only money we'll spend should be for the exam registration/logistics (I'll be giving the exam either at NJ or NYC).

Is it possible to participate in the commencement walk next year or at a later date?

Graduated Dec 25 and degree conferred this March. But I am unable to attend this year's ceremony due to personal reasons. Would it be possible to register (SEAS) and walk the commencement at a later date?

Is the Clark hall gym on south campus closing down for the entire summer?

Heard they are doing some major renovations. So is the primary gym area next to the basketball court closing down?
