Hace un año estaba trabajando dando clases particulares de ciencia y matemáticas a gringos por internet, ganando más o menos bien pero me terminaron despidiendo de esa empresa. Tengo licenciatura en matemáticas.

Aunque el dar clases particulares es un buen ingreso extra, quiero trabajar en algo más consistente y con más demanda, como IT.

He estado aprendiendo HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Bash, así como varios frameworks. He estado haciendo prototipos de videojuegos independientes. También creando proyectos en GitHub.

He estado aplicando a nearshoring gringo, ya que mi nivel de inglés es bueno, pero no he tenido éxito hasta ahora y solo he tenido rechazos o ghostings.

I have felt this way ever since Italy started failing to qualify for World Cups. I remember watching 2018 World Cup felt to me like something I did just to be with friends and family, not because it genuinely interested me.

Same with 2022.

Now, this World Cup, and the excitement inherent to this tournament now starts to feels like more of an annoyance than something I feel a part of.

I feel like this shouldn’t even be happening because I still remember back when Italy was still a regular in World Cups, and Italy missing them was inconceivable. Even after all of that, the idea of Italy not being there still feels way off.
