Healing after divorce feels impossible sometimes
I never realized how much divorce could change a person mentally.
Some days I feel motivated to rebuild my life, and other days I feel completely lost again.
The hardest part isn’t even being alone.
It’s grieving the future I thought I was going to have.
What helped me a little was:
- stopping myself from checking old messages/photos
- going outside more instead of isolating myself
- accepting that healing isn’t linear
- focusing on becoming emotionally stronger instead of “moving on fast”
I still have difficult nights, but I’m starting to believe life can feel normal again someday.
For people who went through divorce:
What genuinely helped you heal emotionally?
