PC system hangs/freezes after a while of use and requires force shutdown every time
I've done some testing on my PC because I've had a persistent problem of my system hanging/freezing after a while of use, sometimes after an hour and sometimes a couple hours. So it basically causes the system to freeze where the mouse still moves and if you restart the monitor, it's just a black with the mouse that can be moved around and sound keeps playing as well. There's also no errors in the windows logs. Another note that after playing, my PC feels a bit more laggy and sluggish when scrolling web pages or apps for example.
The issue started with DOCP on with the rated 3200 Mhz speeds for my RAM and continued all the way down to 3066 Mhz. Then for me 3000 Mhz as well as default JEDEC were stable. But after a few weeks, the problems started happening even at 3000 Mhz speeds and immediately going down to 2933 didn't help either. I decided to turn DOCP off again and run it at JEDEC 2133 Mhz defaults, but even that causes the same freezes now. I also tried increasing DRAM and SOC voltages as well as relaxing timings but those didn't fix it either.
I've also uninstalled all drivers with AMD cleanup utility and DDU many times with fresh installs but those haven't helped either. I also ran 3 cycles of TestMem5 and it gave me 0 errors so I don't really know what could be causing this. Ran CrystalDiskInfo too which came out just fine.
I'm not really sure what is the culprit here. My main suspicion is my 6 year old CPU IMC degrading because of RAM speeds becoming unstable as you go down after a while, but on the other hand there are no WHEA errors in the logs nor were there errors with TM5. Another culprit might be PSU failing though it's much newer at just 3 years old and should be a solid one too. Or maybe GPU or motherboard. Does anyone here have an idea what it could be most likely because I'm lost. Like I mentioned the Windows logs also show no errors.
